Ayresome Park was the home of
Middlesbrough Football Club for 92 years. Opened for the 1903/04 season,
Ayresome Park hosted it's first competitive match on September 12th 1903, against
local rivals Sunderland.

|
The gates were finally closed to competitive action on
May 7th 1995 when Luton Town were the visitors, but the images will live long in the
memories of those who
were privileged to stand on the terraces or sit in the stands.

This is an ongoing
project that will build up to become a comprehensive index
of data and information about the great old stadium, including the history, stats, pictures and
loads more.
